Pottery Party Single Workshop – Policy Overview

We are excited to offer a variety of ceramic workshops for all ages and experience levels, hosted at your location. Our single workshops are perfect for team-building events, creative staff activities, family gatherings like birthdays, stress relief, senior group engagement, or helping students explore their creativity through a unique medium.
Once you’ve completed the registration form, we will reach out to discuss specific details. Please review the following terms and conditions that apply to all workshops:

  1. Logistics and Venue Requirements:We will handle all logistics, including providing the necessary materials (clay, under-glazes, tools, etc.). Your only responsibility will be to ensure the venue is set up with appropriate tables, chairs, and a hand-washing station, as well as a 70×20 inch table for the organizer to set up tools and materials. Having a volunteer or staff member on-site to assist would also be appreciated.
  2. Access and Timing: We will need access to the venue at least one hour before the first workshop begins and will leave one hour after the final workshop concludes.
  3. Drying and Firing Process: Depending on the complexity of the pieces created, we may ask you to hold the work at the venue for at least one day to allow it to dry before transporting it to the studio for firing.
  4. Return of Final Pieces: The time required to return the finished pieces varies based on size, complexity, and quantity. We aim to return the final pieces within two weeks after the last workshop, though this may take longer due to drying times or unforeseen circumstances.
  5. Damage during Transport or Firing: While we have over 25 years of experience in this field, accidents during transportation or firing can occur. We will do our best to repair any broken pieces, though some may be irreparable, particularly after bisque firing.
  6. Payment Terms: Upon confirming the date and time of the workshop(s), the payment schedule is as follows: 20% due after confirmation, 30% at the end of the workshop(s), and the remaining balance upon delivery of the final pieces.
  7. Method of payment: E-Transfer to Reza’s Ceramic Arts Studio via info@rezahosseiny.com.
  8. Cancellations: We begin preparations at least two weeks prior to the workshop. If you need to cancel, please notify us at least 10 days in advance. Cancellations made after this period will incur a 20% charge of the total invoice.
  9. Liability and Insurance: The registrant is responsible for ensuring that all participants are aware of the inherent risks associated with the pottery workshop. The registrant is also responsible for providing any necessary liability insurance for the event. We will not be held liable for any injuries or damages that occur during the workshop. All accidents, injuries, or damages to persons or property are the responsibility of the registrant.
