I observe the power of humans to destroy each other and everything but the universe itself. But I also observe the most troubling fuel for the fires of the world: cynicism, one of two qualities, I propose, that are unique to us. The other quality is love. Love cures cynicism and irony. Love turns arbitrary into intentional, pain into faith, and confusion into mystery.

The power of love can eliminate devils who depend on the love of power. The power of love can exonerate humankind from incompetency, rebellion, and violence. Love can answer the thousands of unsolved and unopened mysteries of human life. Love can teach us how to understand each other. Love can prove that we are a part of a chain that one is useless without others. Love can lead us to accept that the happiness of our life depends on other people’s happiness. Wouldn’t it be so pleasant to rely on other people for pleasure instead of depending on fake power, fake news, counterfeit products, and fake authority?

We strive to prioritize and take care of matters that are important to us. Willingly or unwillingly, we like to preserve and safeguard our ideas, thoughts, values and adhere to them. We also try to spread these ideas and make people aware of them—very worthy ideas like anti-oppression, reparations for the vulnerable, the wellbeing of the environment, and the like, which of course, are stunning and valuable! But our focus is divided, between these notions and less wonderful desires. These less wonderful desires are not always reflections of our passions or preference, but attract our attention because of our fear of acting against the status quo and media propaganda.

In this work, I try to draw attention to a value that is sometimes forgotten: love. Not only to love one another but to love the whole universe and everything in it. If we believe that every action has a consequence, then the consequence of love will shine upon the universe. We must take good care of love, our most precious resource. We must try:

To l
ove the environment like our own property,
To l
ove the different cultures like our daily behaviors,
To l
ove other perspectives like our own,
To l
ove other children like our own,
To l
ove the earth like our home,
To l
ove the power of love like the love of power,
To l
ove ourselves like ourselves.
